Enough is Enough
I have really debated if I would actually post this and have started this post several times and have yet to post any of them, but I have had enough and since this is supposed to be my online journal I am going to.
We know that a lot of people don't agree with decisions that were made in regards to these kids. And a lot of nasty rumors have been started about Cale and I and our inability to be good parents.
Cale and I had to make some really tough decisions about the kids, these were not decisions that were made lightly but we stressed and debated over, but were made with what was recommended to us and what we knew was in the kids best interest, not ours or anyone else.
So if you are one of those who have had a thing or two to say about this situation we just ask that you remember that there are 2 sides to everything.

Hang in there Sharon. No one can imagine what your situation is like unless they are living through it themselves.
Don't let yourself get too stressed out about it all... just remind people that foster care is intended to be a temporary arrangement, that sometimes leads to adoption.
Just know that you are making a HUGE difference in these kids lives - even if you only get to participate for a short amount of time.
... and as for those who question your ability to be good parents?... You got involved - and that's a lot more than anyone else did - and the kids will grow up knowing that!
