Ok so here's part 2 of our summer so far. Jon and Kaylin came to live with us on the 4th of July. It was nice because we were able to transition them here from their previous home and we have had them for respite and seen them quite a bit. Though I have to say being fulltime parents is SO much different than just doing respite or babysitting.
Jon is 4 and Kaylin is 3 and they are definitly a handful but very worth it. They were in their previous home for quite awhile and they did an awesome job with them and we are very thankful they were their previous home.
We are planning to adopt them, there are some hang ups right now so we wont know anything until the first part of November....hopefully.
Jon is very much a boy he loves to ride his bike and play in the dirt. Though he will occasionally play house with his sister. :) He can be a little on the shy side until he gets to know someone. He loves to watch movies and he definilty has his favorites which he watches over and over again.
Kaylin is all girl she loves make up and she usually has her baby in one hand and a purse and her phone in the other. She NEVER goes anywhere without her baby. She is very independent and wants to do everything herself . She also has a stubborn streak in her a mile long and has been known to throw quite a fit ( just ask my mom lol) though when she's done she's done and is her happy self again. She loves to do and have whatever her brother has or is doing which drives him nuts most of the time.
Over all their really good kids and we are so lucky to have them. I think once things get settled with them we'll do one more in a year or so a baby this time either our own biologically or adopted. and then we'll be done.

They really are great kids. I'm so happy for you guys!
How wonderful!! I am so glad these great kids continue to be in such loving homes! I bet they're excited as all get-out about the possible/probable adoption! I am so happy for you guys. You are such a beautiful family!
Congratulations!
They are adorable... and GREAT ages! I love 3 & 4 year olds - independant and oppinionated, but still sweet and cuddly! ;)
