The Waiting Game

I realized I have really slacked off on posting stuff on here. That could have something to do with the fact that I have been sick and felt like garbage the last few weeks. Gosh I love having colds. Sorry I don't have any pics loaded yet we didn't really take very many this year. We had a very pleasant Christmas, it was very laid back and relaxed. We stayed home on Christmas Eve and did our own thing together. Cale would tell you the best part was dinner, we decided that Subway was the way to go. Anyone who knows us know that we don't really do much that's "traditional". LOL So anyway Christmas Day we went to Cale's mom's in the morning, Kara and her family had come up the night before so it was nice to see them. Then we went to my parents opened more presents and had dinner.Then we went out to his dad and Step moms for awhile in the evening. So we had a busy day, 3 families crammed into one day. phew, Unfortunately Scott and Quila and Chris weren't able to come up, because of the weather. So we will have an extended Christmas with them later. Life has been pretty mellow for right now. Though we are expecting that to change anytime now. Hence The title the Waiting Game. A couple days before Christmas we got a phone call about an 18 month old little boy. After asking Angela a 101 questions (she has the patience of a saint) We decided that IF they do decide to place him with us that we do want him. So we are hoping that by the end of the week we will know one way or another by the end of the week. So we are crossing our fingers and praying right now that it works out. We will make sure to keep everyone updated on what happens, but this time it is looking very promising. We hope that you all had a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
