hello all

Its been another exciting week at the Merkleys... in case you can't tell I'm being sarcastic. We went to the fair last week man saying it was hot is the understatement of the year, it was horrible like 110 degrees, seriously. We walked around for a bit looked at all the animals and some booths. I remember when I used to be at the fair like all day every day ride all the rides till like midnight and they kicked everyone out, not anymore, we walked around for a bit and then decided it was way too hot so we left. Cale found out that his work reserved the aquatic center that night so we decided to go there instead, there were a few people there, but not a ton, so it was really nice. We haven't been there in years they added a lazy river which was nice very relaxing, and they have this wave surf thing, which was awesome... you can body surf or boogy board what ever it is called where you don't stand up or you can go to the other side and try and actually surf. Cale tried both, I wish i had taken my camera but of course I forgot it, He got up for a second or two after a few unsuccessful attempts on the surf side then he went back to the other one, he actually got really good at it and since there weren't many people over there he got to do it as long as he wanted, I thought about it but not with my wrist. I stuck to the lazy river and the water slides, it was more fun to watch Cale, I haven't laughed so hard in a really long time. More later
